Martin Nelson Burton, President
Author, publisher, and practicing lawyer,
Martin Nelson Burton received degrees from Yale Law School
(1985) and UCLA (1981).
A television anchor
and news reporter before practicing law, he took a sabbatical
from a successful law practice in 1997 to study children’s
writing. The next year, he founded London Town Press
with just one title. Now he spends half of his time
as an environmental attorney, and the other half as
an author and publisher of children’s books. He
has appeared as a guest on scores of radio and television
programs and speaks often at schools and social events.
A gifted and experienced
public speaker, he enchants second graders, engages
teenagers, and challenges adults with his well-prepared
presentations on topics ranging from the secrets of leprechauns
to the business of publishing. |
